What is BRIDGE Project?
BRIDGE Project is one of project base on exchange in AIESEC Local CommitteeDiponegoro University, Semarang, Indonesia. This project is concerning about introducing and understanding the divers of language in the world. Nowadays, willy-nilly we have to be more open minded about knowing otherlanguages as a BRIDGE to connect with people in the world. Moreover since we face globalization era, absolutely the limit of our languages are the limit of the world.
Open Language Class
Language Classes is one of multiple events in BRIDGE Project. We will have such a short course about some languages. Participants can choose the language that they prefer about. In this event we will have native facilitators from some countries and they will facilitate the participants in this language class. This event will be held in August 2014
Languages : English, Korean, Japan, Arab, Mandarin, Italian, Dutch (YOU CAN CHOOSE)
Date : 2 weeks 6 days (5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16 August 2014)
Contribution : 70K
Facilities : snacks, certificate, book note
Essay and Speech Competitions
We will hold two competitions in BRIDGE project, there are Essay Competition for college students and Speech Competition for Senior High School students. There will be elimination stage before we choose 10 grand finalists for each competition. Grand finalists will have opportunity to the next stage that is presentation stage for grand final in Language Camp. The whole process of those competitions will be held in June-September 2014.
Language Summer Camp
In Language Summer Camp we will make an event for three days two nights that will give so many experiences and International environment for the participants. Language Summer Camp has aims to connecting people through languages diversity and cross cultural understanding. Moreover it will give a lot of activities that develop networking, team working, and brainstorming.

Cultural Paradise
Cultural Paradise is the final events of BRIDGE project. This event showspeopSince language is a part of culture, there will be cultures exhibition and performance here. Collaboration between Indonesian culture and other countries culture will also be showed here. This global village will make people feel unity in diversity.

OUR ACTIVITIES
EVENTS:
1. Sharing with International student
It’s a session about sharing with our International Student from eight countries such as Japan, Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Egypt, China, Italy and Czech. In this session you will get knowledge about their countries, culture, and the languages.
2. Talk Show
This talk show will bring you to know about the important of expanding language. There will be some great speakers from our special learning partner and also community partner.
3. Special Events
Event that makes connection and team work each other between the participants for brainstorming. In this special event also will develop participants’writing and presentation skill through the competitions that will be held.
4. Gala Night
Gala Night is the platform to giving the reward and recognition with elegant dinner concept for all parts of the event.There will be gala dinner and also awarding night.
5. Camp Fire
Camp fire is an event that we will have fun together through the activities such as collaboration performances between participant and international students, roll dance, games and etc.
6. Language Race
Language race is our final and closing event in Language Summer Camp. There will be outstanding activities such as out bond, games, and team working challenge.
